MUW students succeed at the "Great Synapse" competition

MUW students from the 1st and the 2nd Faculty of Medicine were top winners at the 3rd Great Synapse national competition, which took place in Lublin on June 18-19.

Olga Grodzka and Marta Rogalska got first place ex aequo in the individual category. MUW’s team, Olga Grodzka, Gabriela Kulbacka and Marta Rogalska won third place in the team category. In the general classification, our team consisting of: Olga, Gabriela, Marta, Mateusz Bugajski and Aleksander Górny also took a third place

MUW students from 1st Faculty of Medicine prepared for the Great Synapse competition with the help of Liana Puchalska, PhD and Michał Kowara, MD from the Department of Experimental and Clinical Physiology, and under the supervision of prof. Agnieszka Cudnoch-Jędrzejewska, Head of the Department. MUW students from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine studied for the competition under the supervision of Aleksandra Stangret, PhD from the Department of General and Experimental Pathology.

This year's competition was organized by the Chair and Department of Human Physiology at the Medical University in Lublin and under the patronage of the President of the Polish Physiological Society, Prof. Tomasz Brzozowski and the Rector of the Medical University of Lublin, Prof. Andrzej Drop.
